School Reps

Volunteer Role: School Representative

School reps are the most senior course reps in their School and are responsible for coordinating and supporting all other course reps in their school. Some of them co-chair their SSLCs (Student Staff Liaison Committees) and help the Vice-President (Education) run academic campaigns to make an impact within their schools.

Your School Rep should:

  • Represent the views of undergraduate students studying within your School
  • Ensure that there is adequate representation on School committees
  • Channel information from the Vice-President (Education) to relevant course reps and vice versa
  • Follow up students’ issues to ensure that the necessary action is being taken by course reps and staff members, and feedback outcomes in a timely fashion
  • Coordinate all of the course reps within your school
